It got done.
I'm now the proud owner of a Playstation 4. I decided against doing an unboxing post, as a great many of these have already been doing the rounds since weeks before the console dropped. Juggling actually playing the thing with other, mostly baby-related, commitments is delaying the post I'm writing about my experience with it so far, but it's definitely coming.
